The general steps in creating an analysis of wildlife-vehicle collision (WVC) costs and comparing them with mitigation costs begin with adding your data to the web-tool, then checking and editing crash and wildlife values, and finally running the analysis.
Here are the general steps:
1. Upload a dataset of your WVC observations and a dataset of highways or roads (note there is already a state highway map you can use but there is an option to upload a custom roads).
2. Select the crash cost and wildlife values tables you want to use from the corresponding drop-down menus. You can edit the values in this tables using the web-tool if you want to use different values.
3. Click "Run Analysis" and view results on a map.
